about
I've been having a very difficult time getting myself to play music let alone write this past year. In the past few months I've found myself listening to the Violent Femmes' first album a bunch and thought I'd take a crack at covering it. I've never been a big fan of slower songs; since I was a kid they've made me feel awkward, self-conscious, uncomfortable, what have you...unless it's the right song. This is one of my all-time faves that just makes me feel great.
The album cover is a photo of my paternal grandparents <3
